As part of its growth, the company is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer who wants to develop their electrical design skills and grow within an experienced technical team. <br> <br>This is a great opportunity for a young electrical engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in industrial design, work on a variety of technical projects and receive support in their professional development, including towards obtaining their professional engineering license.</p> <strong>Mission</strong> <p>Conditions : <br> <br>Permanent, full-time position. <br>Salary of $67,000 to $74,000 depending on experience for a CPI or early-career engineer working towards their P.Eng. <br>Salary of $74,000 to $90,000 for a junior engineer who already holds their P.Eng. <br>Day shift, 40 hours/week. <br>Comprehensive group insurance program. <br>Retirement plan with employer contribution. <br>Vacation from the start of employment. <br>Personal days. <br>Professional membership fee reimbursement. <br>Support for professional development and obtaining the P.Eng. designation. <br>Collaborative environment focused on learning and career development. <br>Opportunity to work on challenging technical projects using advanced technologies. <br> <br>Your responsibilities : <br> <br>Participate in the design of electrical systems for various industrial equipment. <br>Create and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical. <br>Participate in the development of control panel drawings and electrical component layouts. <br>Contribute to the design of power, control and automation systems. <br>Assist with electrical component selection and preparation of technical bills of materials. <br>Participate in equipment testing, commissioning and validation. <br>Perform electrical checks during equipment start-ups and assist in troubleshooting technical issues. <br>Prepare and maintain technical documentation according to applicable standards. <br>Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and commissioning teams. <br>Contribute to the continuous improvement of design methods and standards. <br>Gradually develop greater autonomy across projects and responsibilities.</p> <strong>Your profile</strong> <p>Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering. <br>Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in industrial electrical design. <br>Experience with AutoCAD Electrical - required. <br>CPI status or P.Eng. designation is an asset. <br>Interest in pursuing professional engineering licensure. <br>Knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs and variable frequency drives is an asset. <br>Knowledge of North American electrical standards is an asset. <br>Functional French and English. <br>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. <br>Good attention to detail and willingness to learn. <br>Strong teamwork and communication skills. <br>Curious, proactive and interested in industrial and manufacturing environments. <br> <br>An opportunity to build your career <br> <br>This position is ideal for a Junior Electrical Engineer looking to build their expertise in a hands-on industrial environment, with the support of an experienced team and the opportunity to gradually take on more autonomy and responsibilities.</p> <br><br>
