As part of its continued growth, the company is looking for a Receiving &amp; Shipping Supervisor to help structure and optimize its logistics operations. <br> <br>The Role <br>Reporting to the Operations Director, you will oversee the day-to-day receiving and shipping activities within a manufacturing environment. As a hands-on leader, you will coordinate warehouse staff, transportation providers, and daily operations while actively contributing to operational planning, process improvements, and the overall performance of the department. <br> <br>Key Responsibilities <br>Supervise receiving, shipping, and material handling activities. <br>Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15 employees. <br>Plan daily operations and coordinate external carriers. <br>Ensure operational priorities are met and deliveries are completed on time. <br>Monitor inventory, shipping documentation, and outbound shipments. <br>Collaborate closely with production, planning, and other internal departments. <br>Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, and applicable regulatory requirements. <br>Provide hands-on operational support whenever needed.</p> <strong>Your profile</strong> <p>Profile <br>Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or food production environment. <br>Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style. <br>Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities. <br>Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, process implementation, or KPI monitoring. <br>Good knowledge of receiving, shipping, and carrier coordination operations. <br>Experience in a regulated environment (food, pharmaceutical, or similar) is considered an asset. <br>Good knowledge of HACCP standards. <br>Experience with WMS or ERP systems. <br>French is required; functional English is required. <br> <br>Compensation &amp; Benefits <br>Competitive salary of $80,000-$90,000, based on experience. <br>Comprehensive group insurance plan. <br>Employer-sponsored retirement savings plan. <br>Health spending account. <br>Employee discount program. <br>Social and team-building activities. <br>Day shift position within a growing company offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on operations.</p> <br><br>
