Service Manager – Heavy Equipment West St. Paul, Manitoba About The Role The Service Manager is a hands‑on, organized leader responsible for guiding the Service team, overseeing daily department operations, and building strong customer relationships that support ongoing growth in the region. This role ensures the team’s work aligns with branch and company goals while maintaining a high standard of service delivery. What You’ll Do Oversee daily Service department operations, including scheduling, quality, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction Lead, coach, and support Service Technicians and Service Coordinators Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging work environment Monitor facility conditions and recommend maintenance or improvements Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and profitability Coordinate training to support continuous learning and skill development Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and support development plans Track departmental KPIs and report performance trends to management Hold regular team meetings to review performance, safety, and operational updates Assess staffing needs and recommend adjustments as required Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding activities Resolve customer issues, conduct customer visits, and maintain strong client relationships Total Rewards Competitive base salary + Annual bonus opportunity Annual Performance Review with Increase Opportunity Group Benefits that are 100% paid for by the Company – inclusive of Health, Dental, Life, Disability and Travel coverage Vacation & Paid Personal days Employer Matching Retirement Savings Plan Position Details Location: West St. Paul, Manitoba Status: Permanent Type: Managerial role Vacancy Type: New vacancy Travel: 2%-5% - to local customer premises as required What You Bring Education/ Certification: Journeypersons Licensed heavy duty, on-off road mechanic preferred Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driver’s abstract, based on Company standards. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, where applicable and in accordance with applicable laws. Requirements
Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Manager in heavy, industrial, or agricultural equipment. A Journeyperson's license as a heavy duty mechanic is preferred along with a valid driver's license.
