Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician, Tax, on a full-time permanent basis on our Commodity Tax team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. What You’ll Do Prepare and file monthly PST, GST, and ecology returns as well as respond to any queries from stakeholders. Handle correspondence between departments, retails, government, and ecology programs. Prepare IFTA reports and remittances based on fleet use in each province. Review new item set ups to ensure proper tax treatment by reviewing PST, GST, and ecology rates on government and other stakeholder’s websites. Other duties as required. Who You’ll Work With The Team: You will work closely within a team of 5 and will report into the Commodity Tax Supervisor. Have a high school diploma and four (4) progressive financial accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution.
