As the CEGEPs’ official spokesperson, the Fédération defends their common interests and represents them on matters of concern to the whole network before government bodies, agencies in the sphere of education and the work world, social groups, the media and the public at large.

Support college staff working with Indigenous students and help them better understand the issues and realities Indigenous students face in college. Collaborate with colleges and First Nations and Inuit organizations to develop partnerships and coordinated responses, represent the Federation in knowledge-transfer activities, and support the annual work of the committee on Indigenous student success.

Coordinate committees and prepare meeting records and supporting materials. Compile and analyze college financial reports and network funding data, conduct studies on public and college-network finances, and advise and support the Federation and colleges.
