La Fédération de l'UPA Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean est une organisation dynamique, qui représente plus de 1 200 producteurs et productrices agricoles sur l'ensemble de son territoire et ce, sans égard à la dimension, la production ou la structure de l'entreprise. L'UPA regroupe les producteurs et productrices agricoles suivant une double structure: - Selon le territoire géographique auquel ils appartiennent, le secteur général - Selon le type de production agricole qu'ils exercent, le secteur spécialisé On retrouve à l'intérieur de la structure de la fédération régionale 4 syndicats locaux et plusieurs syndicats et associations professionnelles qui représentent les productions spécialisées.
