Job Description Site Maintenance Leader We’re a naan traditional company… Summary The Maintenance Team Leader will be responsible for the day to day activities of the shift Mechanics. You will support and improve maintenance operations by becoming the technical expert on all the production equipment for your site. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, and lead by example. Inventory Management – Participate in cycle counting, consuming parts in workorders and maintaining parts bin/shelf organization Primary Responsibilities Leads by example & fosters an environment of mutual respect & team work among Team Members. Be a “hands-on” leader and work very closely with all operations departments to provide immediate, timely support in order to ensure operational targets are met. Train; coach; guide and mentor existing, as well as new shift mechanics. Ensure that troubleshooting and repair is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner. Complete maintenance related projects as required. Ensure that Preventative and Predictive Maintenance programs are executed as scheduled. Recommend additional training for shift mechanics as needed. Collaborate with Maintenance Coordinator to ensure supplies of required tools, parts and labor are available for timely repairs. Promote and support Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing. Required Experience: More than five years working in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of prior leadership & hands on Mechanical experience with excellent Troubleshooting, repair and overhaul skills Must be a demonstrated leader who easily interacts with others and is adept at leading/motivating a team to meet schedule demands Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication skills, along with simple mathematical abilities Licensed Millwright 433A, Electrician 442A, CMRP and /or REF-B is preferred Experience with maintenance systems and computer programs (MS Office, Excel, Outlook, SAP) What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment! Requirements
Candidates should have 3-4 years of manufacturing experience and hold a Millwright 433A or Electrician 442A license. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and computer skills are required to manage team performance and maintenance operations.
