Job summary

An Initial AI Screening will be conducted for this role. Duration: 12 months | strong likelihood of an extension or conversion to a full-time employee | Laptop provided Daily Responsibilities: · The Analyst will ensure that all month-end interest items are processed and confirmed as per counterparty guidelines · Ensure daily collateral movements are captured on time and accurately · Ensure all processes are followed to mitigate risk of error · Set up new accounts and SSI as per SO and Global Payments Policy · Proactively identify opportunities to further streamline processes and improve productivity. · Ensure month-end interest reconciliations are completed, and items escalated as required · Escalate any issues or non-adherence to policy and procedures · Provide backup to Team Lead and other team members as required · Ensure interest rates are accurate and up to date in systems as required · Assist monthly GL Attestation · Provide input and testing assistance on projects as required · Assist in updating procedures and policies as required · Ensure all job functions are performed as per procedures and Standing Orders · Perform functions for IS Trust, ensuring compliance with CASS rules for client money What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role? · Nice to have Knowledge of RIMMS, iMatch, Colline, Acadia, MS Excel, Outlook, etc. · They will be using these applications on daily basis. Must-have Skills: · Must have Knowledge of SWIFT payment types MT103, MT202, MT202COV etc. · Understanding of financial markets, banking, financial markets or accounting. · EXCEL skills – specifically VLOOKUP, pivot tables Nice-to-have Skills: · Canadian Securities Courses and/or CFA an asset. · Knowledge of RIMMS, iMatch, Acadia, Colline and the various processes involved in confirmations and settlements. · Knowledge of SWIFT Payments, Collateral Management, Standard Settlement Instructions, etc. Soft skills: · Effective communicator · High degree of accuracy and attention to detail · Builds strong working relationships with colleagues to leverage knowledge and expertise · Proactive FP Inc. is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all team members and clients feel like they belong. What you’ll do

The analyst manages month-end interest processing, daily collateral movements, and account setups according to global payment policies. They are also responsible for ensuring compliance with CASS rules for client money and streamlining operational processes.

Requirements

Candidates must have knowledge of SWIFT payment types (MT103, MT202, MT202COV) and advanced Excel skills. Experience in financial markets, banking, or accounting is required, while CFA or Canadian Securities Courses are considered assets.
