Dual Ticket Electrician / Heavy Duty Mechanic

Company: Finning Canada Number of Openings: 4 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical aspects of power generation equipment in the field and performing minor/major mechanic work on such equipment. The successful Candidate will be based out of our Edmonton Power Systems facility and will be on a Wednesday – Tuesday 7x7 shift, and will report directly to the Field Service Supervisor, Power Systems. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and repair electrical components of power generation equipment in the field. They will also perform both minor and major mechanical maintenance on this equipment.

Candidates must hold an Interprovincial Electrician Certification and an Interprovincial HET Certification. Previous experience in power generation and a commitment to safety are required.
