Company: Finning Canada Number of Openings: 4 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical aspects of power generation equipment in the field and performing minor/major mechanic work on such equipment. The successful Candidate will be based out of our Edmonton Power Systems facility and will be on a Wednesday – Tuesday 7x7 shift, and will report directly to the Field Service Supervisor, Power Systems. Shift: 7x7 continuous shift (Wednesday – Tuesday ) Location: Edmonton What’s In It For You: • Wage $50.79 -$56.44 • $3.50 Shift Premium • Dual ticket premium $3.25/hour • 7x7 Continuous shift • Per Diem and Travel payments, accommodations provided (when required) • Paid Time Off in Year 1: Vacation, Sick & Flex Time • Pension; with 6% Employee min. contribution, 1.25% Finning match • Employee Share Purchase; 6% voluntary, 2% Finning match • Employer paid medical benefits • CAT certified training: Additional certifications and skill development paid for by Finning Job Description: Service, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment Assist in fulfilling our customer service commitment Qualifications: Interprovincial Electrician Certification Interprovincial HET Certification (apprenticeship in progress will be considered) Previous Power Generation experience Self-motivated Team player capable of working with minimal supervision Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organization, and communication skills and a commitment to safety 3500 engine experience an asset Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
