Do you have experience with excavation work, reading construction drawings, working with equipment, and guiding customers toward safe and effective shoring solutions? We are looking for a Trench Safety Installation Advisor to support trench safety projects throughout the Calgary region. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will work directly with contractors and site supervisors to ensure trench shoring systems are installed safely, correctly, and in compliance with project requirements. This position is ideal for someone who has worked on large construction sites, understands excavation and trenching activities, and enjoys solving problems in the field while building strong relationships with customers. Job Description: What You'll Do Coordinate and oversee the installation of trench shoring systems on customer job sites Review project drawings and site plans to ensure equipment is installed correctly Advise customers on safe and effective trench shoring installation methods Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges Deliver trench safety and product training to customers and project teams Coordinate engineering support, equipment preparation, delivery schedules, and project logistics Ensure all rental equipment is inspected and ready for use before deployment Provide quotes and respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project managers, and site supervisors Support customer retention efforts through proactive follow-up and ongoing service What We're Looking For Experience working on commercial, industrial, civil, or heavy construction projects Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site drawings, and construction plans Previous experience operating construction equipment is considered a strong asset Knowledge of excavation practices, trenching activities, and job site safety requirements Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers and construction crews Comfortable presenting information and delivering training to groups Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract Preferred Qualifications Post-secondary education or technical training in construction, engineering, civil infrastructure, or a related field Experience working with trench shoring, excavation support systems, or underground construction projects Ground Disturbance Certification Excavation Safety Certification Crane and Rigging Certification Understanding of soil conditions, excavation hazards, and safe work practices What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Company vehicle provided Pension and retirement savings programs Employee Share Purchase Plan Paid vacation Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Opportunity to work with industry-leading trench safety solutions and construction professionals Why Join Us?
