Job Responsibilities Perform a wide range of fleet repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of trucks, trailers, equipment and medium/light vehicles, i.e. tandem delivery trucks, tri-axle flat decks, fuel haulers, skidsteers, loaders, dozers, excavators, etc. Diagnose and repair a wide range of problems and faults with a high degree of quality, reliability and consistency Utilize diagnostic software, manuals and diagrams to assist with various troubleshooting and efficient repair processes Demonstrate continuous effort to improve quality of repairs, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes Source and order parts Accurately document work time, service reports, and equipment status to ensure precise billing and record-keeping Communicate effectively with the service team and customers; accurately informing all parties involved on repairs needed and downtime required Maintain a safe and organized working environment, adhering to all relevant safety guidelines and protocols Qualifications Proficiency in Electrical and Emissions Diagnostics Five years of experience performing repairs on diesel systems and using diagnostic software for troubleshooting Come up with creative solutions when needed and possible Ability to operate and coordinate work schedule out of a service truck Consistent attention to detail/high quality of work standards Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license, Class 3 with air brakes is an asset Ability to work well with the internal service team and customers and maintain professional relationships at all levels Must own basic tools required for the job Willingness to work in all weather conditions Licence/Certification Class 5 Licence (required) Journeyman (required) Shift Schedule On-Call rotation Expected hours - Day & Night shifts, Weekends, Holidays Overtime requirements Full Time Benefits Health & Dental Life Insurance Flexible Schedule Apply now to join our team at Fireweed Heavy Truck and Equipment Repairs in Fireweed Heavy Truck & Equipment Repairs!
