Excavator Operator Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to work on underground / water & sewer projects located in Saskatchewan. Duties include (but are not limited to): Installation of underground utilities in residential / commercial areas Work closely with pipe crews to install pipe - ensuring a high level of safety, communication and quality Adherence to legislation for excavation and trenching requirements Lower materials to pipe crews using proper rigging mechanisms and procedures Operate equipment in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipment Ensure work is always done safely, to the highest quality standard while maintaining strong production Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program Daily equipment inspections and maintenance Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity Required Skills: 3+ years of experience as a Mainline Excavator Operator Municipal underground utility experience is required Exceptionally safety conscious Able to work independently and follow instruction from the superintendent / foreman Ability to operate other equipment is an asset Strong communication skills Required Certifications: Ground Disturbance Level 2 (required) CSTS 2020 / SCOT WHMIS 2015

Requirements
Requires at least 3 years of experience as a Mainline Excavator Operator and municipal underground utility experience. Must hold Ground Disturbance Level 2, CSTS 2020/SCOT, and WHMIS 2015 certifications.
