Firma Contracting is currently looking for a reliable and experienced Handyman to support our renovation and construction projects in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Key Responsibilities: Carry out general renovation and repair work on residential and commercial sites Support a variety of construction tasks including basic framing, flooring, and drywall installation/repairs Assist with site preparation, demolition, and finishing tasks as required Measure, cut, and install materials accurately based on project needs Operate hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner Maintain a tidy and safe work area at all times Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to support project timelines Report issues, defects, or repair needs to the supervisor as they arise Follow all company safety procedures and participate in inspections as required Work in a professional manner demonstrating reliability, honesty, and teamwork What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in general renovations is required Working knowledge of framing, flooring, and drywall is required Solid understanding of basic construction and repair practices Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision when needed Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Safety conscious with consistent adherence to site procedures Physically capable of performing manual labour in a construction environment Dependable, punctual, and able to work consistently as scheduled Required Certifications: CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015
