ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Services, you will join and be an integral part of the Commercial Banking team. As a Commercial Banking Service Officer (CBSO), you will provide extensive administrative support on Commercial Credit. You will provide administration support by obtaining customer information, follow up on customer issues, open commercial bank accounts, and process wire payments. The CBSO is a link between the commercial and operations teams. This full-time permanent opportunity is based out the Saskatoon, SK branch but can also be performed remotely. ABOUT YOU You are a highly motivated individual who is passionate about providing a high level of customer service. You have a keen eye for detail and possess strong organizational skills. You are highly adaptable, professional and efficient and enjoys working with others! HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * Interacts with customers at an appropriate level on all matters on behalf of Operations Support * Opens commercial bank accounts and ensures signing authorities are up to date. * Manages KYC processes while on-boarding new commercial clients. * Provides administrative support for non-credit matters, including commercial bank accounts, wires, business internet banking, client transfer requests etc. * Facilitates investment requests between customers and the Bank where required. * Contributes to sales results by identifying potential sales opportunities and referring opportunities to the appropriate person/area. * Tracks, collects, and reconciles loan and related fees. * Forwards monthly reporting items to be action to Commercial Operations Support as required. * Builds and maintains a productive relationship with Commercial Operations Support, FNBC Compliance department and FNBC Trust Service team. QUALIFICATIONS * a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, post-secondary education in business and/or previous banking experience is an asset * experience related to lending administration * experience with financial institution software systems preferred * high proficiency with software programs (Excel and MS Word) * ability to pay close attention to detail and prioritize work routine * ability to adjust to changing work priorities and meet time sensitive deadlines HOW TO APPLY If you are interested in this opportunity, please visit our Career Centre on ADP under Myself>Talent>Career Centre.
