About The Roles As a Senior Commercial Banking Analyst – National, you will provide analytical and credit support to the National Business Development team. You will assist Commercial Credit Underwriters in managing customer risk, preparing high-quality credit applications, conducting financial analysis, and developing competitive lending solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to Bank policies and procedures. This is a permanent full-time opportunity at our Saskatoon branch. About You You are a highly analytical and motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality work while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders. You are adaptable, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: * Analyze financial statements, business plans, valuations, and Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs) * Structure and package competitive financing solutions for commercial clients * Prepare credit applications with strong risk assessment, due diligence, and credit presentation * Support Commercial Credit Underwriters with credit adjudication and portfolio management * Identify business growth opportunities within existing customer relationships * Apply pricing models and concepts to maximize profitability and meet pricing thresholds * Monitor portfolios and support timely renewals of commercial credits * Ensure compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and industry codes of conduct * Provide recommendations on credit decisions to the Manager of Business Development You Must: * Have post-secondary education in Business (BComm, BAdmin, or equivalent) * Have 2-5 years of experience in business lending, financial analysis, commercial banking, or a related field * Demonstrate strong financial analysis and credit writing skills * Be proficient with Microsoft Copilot, Excel, and Word * Possess excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills * Have the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities * Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a strong desire to learn and grow We are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace and value and respect diversity of our staff.
