Title: Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Information Management and Information Technology Salary: $226,000- $282,000 per year (targeted salary) Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri) Location: Metro Vancouver– Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027. About The Role The Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Information Management and Information Technology (CFO) - reporting to the CEO - holds an executive role that shapes and directs the financial and digital strategy in alignment with the FNHA's objectives for First Nations health in British Columbia. Entrusted with overseeing all financial and fiscal management aspects of a highly complex, multi-partner organization, the CFO handles a range of functions, from budgeting and financial reporting to forecasting and risk management, ensuring these elements support the organization's mission and quality services. Additionally, the CFO provides strategic direction in leading Information Management and Information Technology, critical functions that ensure the organization's data, digital health, and information security infrastructure to ensure service excellence. Tasked with articulating and achieving the vision of the financial and technology systems for the organization, the CFO is at the forefront of driving change management, streamlining financial and technology operations, and fortifying the organization's financial and information infrastructure. Collaborating closely with internal teams, First Nations communities, and external partners, including government bodies. The CFO ensures that funding allocation and utilization are strategically aligned with FNHA's mission. Additionally, the role includes strategically leading and mentoring a diverse team, guiding their professional development, inspiring a commitment to excellence, and maintaining accountability in all financial and technology practices. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of financial and technology expertise, leadership skills, cultural safety and humility, and a dedication to the FNHA's values and seven directives, contributing to the organization's vision of enhancing healthcare for First Nations people across the province. With a solid track record in finance and technology leadership, including contract and procurement management, the selected individual will be versed in developing funding and IT strategies that meet the unique healthcare needs of First Nations communities.
