What you will be doing Créer, maintenir et mettre à jour régulièrement la base de données des fournisseurs. Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies globales de chaîne d’approvisionnement alignées sur les objectifs des projets. Définir et appliquer des indicateurs de performance clés (KPI) pour évaluer la performance des fournisseurs sur les projets en cours. Organiser et animer des réunions régulières avec les principaux sous-traitants et fournisseurs pour assurer l’alignement et la performance. Appuyer les équipes des achats et de l’estimation dans la préparation et l’émission des demandes de prix (DP). Identifier, évaluer et qualifier de nouveaux fournisseurs pour renforcer le réseau de la chaîne d’approvisionnement. Revoir, adapter et personnaliser les gabarits de contrats de sous-traitance et de fourniture selon les exigences spécifiques des projets. Contribuer au développement de modèles et de pratiques exemplaires pour les achats à l’échelle de l’entreprise. Assister dans la négociation de contrats à haut risque ou complexes afin d’obtenir des conditions favorables et réduire les risques. Résoudre les problèmes contractuels complexes, litigieux ou escaladés avec les fournisseurs ou sous-traitants. Négocier et mettre en place des ententes-cadres spécifiques avec les fournisseurs pour simplifier les engagements futurs. Établir et entretenir des relations solides et durables avec les sous-traitants et les fournisseurs. Collaborer avec le département de la machinerie pour répondre aux besoins en approvisionnement en équipements. Create, maintain, and regularly update the vendor database. Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with project goals. Define and apply key supply chain KPIs to evaluate vendor performance across active projects. Organize and lead regular meetings with key subcontractors and suppliers to ensure alignment and performance. Support procurement and estimating teams in preparing and issuing requests for quotes (RFQs). Identify, assess, and qualify new vendors to expand and strengthen the supply chain network. Review, adapt, and tailor subcontract and supply contract templates to meet specific project requirements. Contribute to the development of company-wide procurement templates and best practices. Assist in negotiating high-risk or complex contracts to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation. Resolve escalated, disputed, or complex contractual issues with vendors or subcontractors. Negotiate and establish supplier-specific framework agreements to streamline future engagements. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Collaborate with the Machinery Department to support equipment procurement needs. What we are looking for Baccalauréat en ingénierie, en sciences, en commerce ou en économie De 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en gestion des achats de sous-traitants dans le cadre de travaux civils lourds et de bâtiments Une expérience, une familiarité et un réseau existant avec les principaux fournisseurs et sous-traitants locaux au Québec constituent un atout Expérience pratique des processus, méthodes et pratiques d’approvisionnement, de l’administration des contrats ainsi que des principes de comptabilité et d’ordonnancement Solides compétences en informatique, notamment avec la suite MS Office et les logiciels spécialisés en approvisionnement Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles, de communication verbale et écrite, ainsi que la capacité à coordonner les efforts d'une équipe pour atteindre les objectifs La maîtrise de l'anglais et du français est exigée Capacité à travailler de manière productive avec une supervision minimale Disponibilité pour se déplacer afin de surveiller la performance, la production et les échéanciers des fournisseurs, au besoin Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science/Commerce or Economics 5-10 years of experience as Subcontractor Procurement Management in heavy civil works & buildings Experience, familiarity, and existing relationship with major local suppliers and subcontractors in Quebec would be an asset Practical experience of procurement processes, methods, practices, and contract administration as well as accounting and scheduling principles Strong computer skills, specifically with MS Office and specialized procurement software Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and the ability to coordinate the efforts of others to accomplish objectives Fluency in both French and English is required Ability to work productively with nominal supervision Availability to travel to monitor supplier’s performance, production and schedules as needed Why work for us Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are: Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program Tuition Reimbursement Program We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.
