Why Join Mattr? • Competitive wages with paid overtime and incentive bonus plans• Safety boot allowance, PPE, and full safety training provided• Flexible health, dental & vision benefits with Health Spending Account (HSA)• Employer-paid Life, AD&D, and Disability insurance• 24/7 Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP)• Wellness, mental health, and resilience programs• Discounts through Perkopolis & GoodLife Fitness• Year-round permanent work at one location + staff social events Key Responsibilites: Follow established procedures to apply material by hand and/or machine to produce standard and nonstandard components and products Prepare mold or tool surface properly with release film, wax and other part release products Utilize resin, glass, catalyst, mold releases and related materials, adjusting for changing climatic conditions Trim parts to the proper dimensions based on process sheets, established standards, drawings and verbal instructions Inspect laminate surfaces for defects, imperfections, foreign material or other non-conformance, identifying and correcting as necessary Other direct molding activities as required Education / Experience: High School Diploma Direct experience in a fiberglass reinforceed plastic manufacturing facility or similar facility (preferred) Special Knowledge/Skills: Strong production and quality manufacturing skills Good understanding of the English language including verbal and written communication skills Ability to read and follow blueprints and drawings Ability to work effectively with others and be part of a dynamic team Ability to learn new tools, equipment and material used in above ground and undergound storage tank manufacturing and assembly Ability to solve mathematical problems related to position Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment/ with Lean principles is an asset #IND1 Xerxes, a division of Mattr is the largest manufacturer of underground fiberglass storage tanks in the world. Requires a high school diploma and the ability to read blueprints and solve mathematical problems. Direct experience in fiberglass reinforced plastic manufacturing is preferred.
