Required immediately, our Winnipeg Branch is seeking a Manufacturing Technician FLOFORM Countertops is a Canadian company with its head office in Winnipeg, MB and has 16 branches and 5 manufacturing facilities located in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. POSITION SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Technician ensures the effective operation of production and facility assets. Desired Skills & Experience: Post-Secondary education in a related field 2 years’ experience in a similar role Basic computer skills for parts research Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical and control principles Has or can obtain fork lift operators certificate Regular bending, twisting, and kneeling Able to lift 100lbs assisted Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for safe and reliable function of all production equipment, tools, and vehicles Implement total productive maintenance plan (TPM) to be carried out by staff throughout production Advise on process changes and associated work instructions/SOP’s Creation of jigs, fixtures, and individual work cells with a focus on efficiency and setup reduction Promote and support ‘5S’ standard throughout the plant Development and control of critical parts inventory General maintenance for local buildings/property and liaison with external contractors. The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of production equipment, tools, and facility assets. They will implement maintenance plans, create work cells, and support the production team through calibration and process improvements.

Candidates must have post-secondary education in a related field and at least two years of experience in a similar role. The position requires physical capability to lift 100lbs and the ability to obtain a forklift operator certificate.
