We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Canada. In this role, you will independently manage full-cycle accounting, perform month-end closing, and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, local financial compliance expertise, and the ability to act as a bridge between finance and regional business operations. Location 45 Vogell Rd, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 3P6 Key Responsibilities Full-Cycle Accounting: Independently process and manage general ledger (GL), accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and fixed assets. Expense & Payment Audit: Review and audit invoices, payment requests, and employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies. Month-End Closing: Handle and complete month-end and year-end closing processes independently. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports. Identify discrepancies, perform variance/fluctuation analysis, and investigate anomalies. Business Partnership & Optimization: Communicate effectively with regional operational teams to review business workflows and proactively propose suggestions for process optimization. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in Canada. Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of local Canadian GAAP/ASPE and tax regulations. Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal) is required to collaborate with global stakeholders. Industry Background (Pluses): Experience in the Logistics or Manufacturing industry is a strong asset. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
