Job summary

Corporate Flight Attendant — FLYGTA Location: Based at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) — with a possible seasonal second base in Florida Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Above-industry-average pay, commensurate with experience --- About FLYGTA FLYGTA is a private charter operator based at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), flying a fleet of Challenger 604/605 heavy jets. We operate a high-frequency charter schedule, serving clients who expect the standard of a five-star hotel in the air on every flight. As our operation grows, we're also establishing a seasonal second base in Florida, flight attendants should be open to relocating seasonally between YYZ and Florida to follow demand and support client travel patterns throughout the year. We fly often, this is a high-frequency operation, not an occasional-charter side gig, and we pay above the market rate for flight attendants who can consistently deliver that standard. --- The Role The Corporate Flight Attendant is the face of FLYGTA in the cabin. You'll be responsible for the full passenger and crew experience on every flight, from the moment the aircraft is prepped to the moment the last guest deplanes, while working closely with pilots, maintenance, and ground staff to keep operations seamless. This is not a scheduled-airline flight attendant role. You'll be working a small crew in a heavy-jet cabin, which means more autonomy, more responsibility, and much closer contact with clients and executives. Meticulous personal presentation, discretion, and hospitality instincts matter as much as your safety training. Key Responsibilities Cabin Service & Hospitality - Deliver polished, attentive meal and beverage service to clients and pilots on every flight - Source, prepare, and/or plate meals to a luxury standard — coordinating with caterers where available, and personally preparing food when it isn't - Anticipate client needs and preferences; tailor service to VIP and repeat-client expectations - Maintain a warm, professional, discreet demeanor at all times, representing FLYGTA's brand with every interaction Aircraft Readiness - Ensure cabin cleanliness and presentation meet a five-star standard before every departure - Manage galley and cabin stock — food, beverage, amenities, and supplies, ensuring the aircraft is fully provisioned for each trip - Conduct pre- and post-flight cabin checks - Coordinate with maintenance teams to flag and resolve any cabin-related aircraft issues promptly, ensuring nothing affecting passenger experience or safety goes into a flight unresolved Safety & Compliance - Perform all standard flight attendant safety duties: briefings, emergency equipment checks, and in-flight safety monitoring - Maintain current certifications and comply with all applicable aviation safety regulations - Support pilots with operational coordination as needed Travel & Flexibility - Be available for frequent, and at times short-notice, domestic and international trips - Be open to seasonal relocation between YYZ and our Florida base as operational needs shift throughout the year - Maintain readiness to be away from home base for multi-day trips as required by client itineraries --- What We're Looking For FLYGTA is looking for polished, capable professionals who can be trusted to represent the company independently, often as the only crew member interfacing directly with clients. Required - Prior commercial flight attendant experience (scheduled airline, charter, or corporate/private aviation) - Valid passport with unrestricted international travel eligibility - Ability to pass required background checks, security clearances, and aviation authority certifications - Exceptional personal presentation and grooming standards - Strong food handling, meal preparation, and service skills - Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, holidays, and short-notice trips - Willingness to relocate seasonally between Toronto (YYZ) and Florida - Legal authorization to work in Canada Strongly Preferred - Background in luxury service — five-star hospitality, fine dining, luxury hotels, or high-end private service - Prior experience with private/corporate aviation or VIP charter service, ideally on Challenger or similar heavy-jet types - Culinary training or professional food preparation experience - Multilingual ability - Formal wine, cocktail, or fine-dining service training - Experience working in small, high-accountability teams with minimal supervision The Person We're Looking For Strong candidates are composed under pressure, detail-oriented, and comfortable being the sole representative of the company in front of high-net-worth clients and executives. You take ownership of the cabin the way a great host takes ownership of a room — nothing needs to be asked twice, and problems get solved quietly before anyone notices them. --- Training FLYGTA's onboarding and training program is extensive and goes well beyond standard flight attendant certification, covering luxury service standards, FLYGTA-specific safety and emergency procedures, catering and meal preparation, and client-handling protocols. Candidates with existing commercial flight attendant experience and a luxury-service background will be best positioned to succeed in this program. --- Compensation & Why FLYGTA - Pay above the industry average for corporate flight attendants - High flight frequency, consistent, substantial flying hours on a heavy-jet fleet (not sporadic charter work) - Seasonal Florida base exposure, a change of scenery and client mix through the year - Direct exposure to a growing private aviation operation with room for advancement - Small-team environment with direct access to leadership --- How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume to [email protected], a recent photo, and a brief cover note outlining relevant luxury service, hospitality, or aviation experience. *FLYGTA is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration regardless of race, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.*
