Focus Systems is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator (1897) to support healthcare IT infrastructure coordination for major capital construction and facility renovation initiatives in Saskatchewan. Key Details Location: On-site within Saskatchewan Contract: Full-time contract starting ASAP through March 31, 2027, with two optional twelve-month extensions Industry: Healthcare / Health Information Technology / Infrastructure Travel: Travel to site locations throughout Saskatchewan is required Role Overview The Project Coordinator (1897) will support the coordination of IT infrastructure and technical requirements for major capital construction and renovation projects across the province. The successful candidate will coordinate multiple complex initiatives involving numerous stakeholders while helping ensure projects remain aligned with scope, timelines, budgets, and operational requirements. Working closely with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and healthcare stakeholders, the project coordinator (1897) will support project planning, procurement, budgeting, documentation, issue management, and on-site coordination throughout the project lifecycle. This is a highly visible role supporting healthcare infrastructure modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Coordinate IT infrastructure activities across multiple capital projects Support overall project planning and execution Develop and maintain project schedules Assist with project scope development Coordinate multiple technical and business stakeholders Manage procurement activities for IT equipment and services Support project budget development, tracking, and forecasting Maintain project documentation and document control Track project issues, risks, and action items Support project decision tracking and governance Provide on-site coordination during project implementation Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-up activities Support project and program managers throughout project delivery Coordinate end-user reviews and technical validation sessions Assist with infrastructure implementation activities Support construction and renovation project coordination Mandatory Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification Minimum five (5) years supporting IT infrastructure projects within major or minor capital construction projects Minimum five (5) years managing IT projects within the healthcare sector Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects Experience supporting complex technical project environments Experience working with multidisciplinary stakeholder groups Ability to work on-site within Saskatchewan and travel to site locations throughout Saskatchewan Required Skills & Experience Advanced written and verbal communication Ability to translate technical concepts into business language Stakeholder engagement and relationship management Facilitation and meeting coordination Project scheduling and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development Budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting Procurement coordination for IT equipment and services Risk, issue, action item, and decision tracking Documentation management and document control Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Visio Advanced Excel reporting and analysis Strong time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization, and attention to detail Application Deadline Please complete your initial application by August 5, 2026, at 11:00 PM CST.
