Job summary
Foremost has an immediate opening for a Journeyman Welder, located at our facility in Calgary, Alberta. This position includes, but is not limited to production welding, prototype building, and fitter welding. This position will work with Lead Hands, Charge Hands and Foremen to ensure continuous improvements using various welding processes. Responsibilities * Works without direction to most complicated drawings, sketches, etc., and/or verbal instruction. * Lays out fits and/or welds any major or minor fabrication assemblies for any vehicle or rig or part thereof. * Operates any and all of the weld shop equipment as required. * Maintains a set of tools to perform welding functions. * Assists less experienced personnel with work methods, work habits and performance. * Performs other tasks related to his/her classification Qualifications * Must be a qualified licensed tradesman in the Province of Alberta. * Must be able to mentor and coach. * CWB tickets would be considered an asset * Must have fitting experience * Maintains a set of tools to perform welding functions * Safety Training an asset but will train as required What we Offer * Competitive Compensation. * In-depth Safety Program. Requirements
Candidates must be a qualified licensed tradesman in the Province of Alberta with proven fitting experience. CWB tickets and safety training are considered assets for this role.
