AI Intern – Applied Artificial Intelligence & Workflow Automation About Us Forest Group of Companies is actively advancing the integration of artificial intelligence into operational, administrative, and strategic functions. We are seeking a forward-thinking AI Intern to support senior leadership in building AI-driven tools, automating workflows, improving efficiency, and modernizing decision-making across the business. If you are curious, technical, and excited by building real AI solutions that get used — this role is for you. What You Will Do You will work directly with management to: Build & deploy internal AI tools to support HR, safety, project controls, and admin processes Develop AI-powered automations to reduce manual work & streamline communication Create internal chatbots or retrieval systems for policies, manuals & documentation Assist teams in implementing AI solutions in day-to-day operations Research AI use-cases that deliver measurable value in construction & heavy civil environments Prototype tools using Python, APIs, automation platforms (Zapier/PowerAutomate/etc.) Evaluate LLMs, compare tools, run small pilots & present findings to leadership Your success = producing working solutions that reduce admin time and increase clarity & speed of decision-making. What You Bring Technical Strengths Experience with AI/ML, prompt engineering or LLM applications Python, data handling or automation experience (nice to have) Understanding of machine learning workflows or cloud tools Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, API integration, or RAG systems Soft Skills (equally Important) Curiosity + initiative — you like solving problems Ability to translate technical solutions for non-technical people Strong written/verbal communication Desire to build real tools with real impact — not just theoretical work
