FGI has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager – Trailer Division based out of Edmonton or Calgary to join our team! About the role: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth and dealer development across Western Canada. The ideal candidate will have experience in trailer, transportation, agricultural, construction, or related equipment sales and a proven ability to build strong customer relationships while expanding market share. As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Trailer sales team, identifying new business opportunities, supporting channel partners, and achieving regional sales targets. This position requires frequent travel throughout the assigned territory. What You Will Do: Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and market share objectives. Manage and develop relationships with customers. Conduct regular visits to provide sales support, product training, and business development assistance. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support product launches and promotional campaigns. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and territory performance updates. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings. Resolve customer concerns and work cross-functionally to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and opportunities within the CRM system. What We Require: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in trailers, transportation equipment, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, or related industries. Demonstrated success managing sales teams and achieving sales targets. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build long-term customer relationships and influence decision-makers. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 60% of the time. Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales and/or product or technical support knowledge and experience in vocational trailers and working with manufacturers and/or dealers. Existing relationships within the trailer dealer network. Knowledge of trailer manufacturing, specifications, and industry regulations. What you’ll do
Lead sales growth and dealer development across Western Canada for the Trailer Division. Manage the sales team, identify new business opportunities, and execute territory plans to achieve revenue targets.
Requirements
Requires at least 5 years of outside sales experience in transportation, agricultural, or construction equipment. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Agriculture is preferred, along with a valid driver's license for frequent travel.
