What You Will Do: The Warehouse Manager is to lead our warehouse team and support safe, efficient operations. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will oversee receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch while working with your team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks: Lead warehouse operations and support branch logistics, shipping, and inventory control while ensuring exceptional customer service. Lead a team of up to 20 employees, including parts handlers, drivers, dispatchers, and shipper/receivers, through coaching, mentoring, and training. Schedule and assign work, adjust priorities to meet changing workloads, and monitor operational goals. Coordinate deliveries, dispatch trucks, and communicate with drivers. Maintain an organized warehouse, plan storage layouts, inspect equipment and racking, and arrange repairs or replacement as needed. Ensure special-order product returns and warranty claims are processed accurately. Support annual inventory counts and maintain inventory organization. Recruit and onboard warehouse employees. Manage employee performance and attendance and conduct performance evaluations. Hold regular staff meetings and toolbox talks to address safety, productivity, and loss prevention. Champion FGI’s safety culture by ensuring employees follow safe work procedures, use required PPE, and report incidents and unsafe conditions. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, warehouse staff, and management to resolve concerns and support consistent service. Uphold FGI’s Customer Service Standards and Core Values in all interactions. Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse processes. Other duties as assigned. What We Require: Two (2) years of warehouse management experience combined with five (5) + years of progressive experience in a warehouse environment is required Experience in aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred Experience in inventory management and warehouse equipment (forklifts, RF scanners) is preferred Must meet the physical requirements: Occasionally lift 75 – 100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers. Strong people management skills – you thrive on building successful teams Exceptional problem-solving skills — you don’t just spot issues, you fix them fast. A team player with a no-excuses attitude — you do what it takes to get the job done right. Strong follow-up and accountability mindset — you don’t let issues slide.
