Fortin's is a local, family-owned business that has been part of the community since 1946. We supply automotive/industrial products and are a part of Home Hardware. Fortin's currently has stores in Chilliwack, Hope, and Abbotsford. We are currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to fill a full-time Shipping/Receiving position in Chilliwack at the Airport Road Location. The successful Shipper/Receiver must have: * Valid BC Driver's License * Enjoy working with people * Possess the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment * Basic computer skills - Willing to learn * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines * Experience with Forklift is an asset, or willing to be trained and certified. * Good driver’s abstract * Physically able and willing to lift 50lbs continuously * Self-motivated * Strong organizational skills * Customer service and communication skills * Willing to learn This position is full-time, Monday to Friday. While not typical, a Saturday or Sunday shift may be required. Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Process courier deliveries * Checking off stock orders - by hand & using RF Gun * Cross-referencing using supplied tools to ensure accuracy in receiving * Troubleshooting and communicating any discrepancies/damages in received orders * Data entry for stock and special orders * Processing warehouse returns/warranties quickly * Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the workspace * Help Dispatch when busy with picking orders Fortin's offers a competitive wage and benefits package.
