Why You’ll Love Working Here Collaboration – complementary Group of Companies servicing the mining and construction industries Innovation– if it doesn’t exist, we will engineer and manufacture it Excellence – be a part of an industry leader in quality, safety, & integrity Culture – a diverse team that values collaboration, innovation, and community What You’ll Be Doing Provide assistance with engineering design and technical support for manufacturing and fabrication projects Assist with preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule Translate general work requirements into a prioritized plan for individual tasks and assignments Prepare simple plans and reports with the related engineering calculations Responsible for data administration and record maintenance to assist in project tracking & health Provide other technical project support as required Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring To The Table Ability to commence full-time (40 hours/week) work from the beginning of May until the end of August 2027 Ability to understand and follow directions Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal Ability to handle competing priorities simultaneously Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work well alone or in a team setting Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) required Possess a positive and professional attitude, set a high standard, and convey professionalism at all times How To Apply Students/applicants must provide a resume and should clearly indicate the following information in their application submission: Area of post-secondary study Any previous related work and/or volunteer experience Any valid training certification or tickets References: include at least two references with their name, email address, phone number and relationship to you Students interested in working for Northern Strands Group of Companies for the 2027 summer season must submit a resume and complete the online application process to be considered.
