Responsibilities Prepare layouts, cut and shape metal components, and assemble finished products using tools, heavy duty machines, and welding processes. Work with engineering drawings, sketches, or original parts and, if required, produce accurate working drawings or sketches or components. Fabricate and repair a range of tools and equipment. Use of manual and/or power operated tools and machines relevant to metal fabrication and forming. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Minimum two (2) years of metal fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to become proficient in interpreting work orders, mechanical drawings, sketches and written instruction and record work done. Demonstrated safe work habits and adherence to safety regulations and practices on a sustained basis. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
