What You’ll Do Day-To-Day Ensures effective performance on moderately complex to complex engineering assignments. Plans and directs the timely execution of engineering activities within assigned cost center(s). Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards. Develops and/or administers organization engineering standards and procedures for the group. Provides goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members. Ensures development and training of team members to optimize task results. Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships. Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Works on special projects, as directed. Utilizes existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies. Actively participates in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in Engineering Minimum of 10 years of related experience. Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.). Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria. Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills. Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates. Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills. Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role. Total Rewards Package Salary: $159,000 - $209,000 per year, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. What you’ll do
The Engineering Manager will plan and direct engineering activities while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and customer requirements. They are responsible for leading a team, fostering client relationships, and identifying technical improvements to support the product life cycle.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and possess a minimum of 10 years of related experience. A Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.) is required, along with advanced problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
