FVCL is a rapidly growing medical ophthalmology clinic specializing in eye disease and surgeries with advanced technology. We have nationally-recognized team of ophthalmologists with vast clinical experience in a wide variety of ocular services including MSP covered exams and surgeries, as well as private lens surgeries and LASIK. We are looking for an energetic and detail oriented individual to join our dynamic and growing ophthalmic clinic and surgical centre! Duties include: • Greeting patients in person, on the phone and by email in a helpful and informative manner • Billing, invoicing and receiving payments • Booking and coordinating patient appointments • Providing physicians and patients with attentive care and service • Tracking patient lab test results and booking follow-up appointments • Providing patients with detailed instructions on various lab tests • Accuro EMR system • Working collaboratively with physicians and other colleagues • Collaborating in the establishment of the systems and processes in place at the clinic • Cooperating with physicians in meeting their needs requirements Ophthalmic assistant with experience in the following an asset but we are willing to train the right candidate: Visual Fields OCT's Auto-refractions Non-contact Tonometer Doctor workups Cataract measurements If you do not have direct experience, you should have a strong work ethic and be able to learn on the go quickly. Compensation: $17.50-$27.00 per hr

Requirements

Candidates should have a strong work ethic and the ability to learn clinical procedures quickly, with previous ophthalmic experience considered an asset. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are required to support the clinic's daily operations and patient needs.
