Fraserway RV is looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined person to join our Halifax team as a PDI Technician. This is an entry-level opportunity to gain practical experience working with electrical, plumbing, appliances, mechanical systems, and more. You don't need RV experience. You need the curiosity to learn, the reliability to do the job right, and an interest in building a career as a technician. With training and experience, this role can be a starting point for a career in RV service and skilled trades. As part of our commitment to supporting our technicians, Fraserway RV will provide new service technicians with up to $2,000 in tools when they join our Halifax team. It's our way of helping you get started and giving you the tools you need to succeed. What You'll Do You'll help inspect, prepare, and maintain RVs before they are delivered to customers. Your day-to-day work may include: * Performing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used RVs * Identifying and addressing basic issues before an RV reaches the customer * Performing minor electrical, plumbing, appliance, and mechanical repairs * Assisting technicians with repairs and other service work * Learning how different RV systems operate and how to troubleshoot them * Helping with RV setup and preparation for delivery * Completing work orders and documenting completed work * Moving and organizing units around the dealership and service area * Keeping your work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized Who We’re Looking For This could be a great fit if you’re currently: * Working in an entry-level automotive or trades position * Working in construction, maintenance, or general repair * A recent graduate of a trades or technical program * Someone who has developed hands-on skills through automotive work, home projects, or similar experience * Looking for a career where you can learn a skilled trade rather than simply looking for your next job You don't need to know how to repair an RV. We'll teach you.
