Position Summary The Golf Shop Ambassador will be responsible for customer service and sales of golf merchandise and services. The Golf Shop Ambassador performs a variety of duties including, but not limited to, customer service in the golf shop, answering the phone, booking tee times, ensuring carts and other equipment is prepared, cleaning and stocking the Golf Shop and assisting the Director of Golf as needed. Duties & Responsibilities * Work with and assist the Professional Team with the day-to-day responsibilities of the golf department. * Greet and assist each guest with exceptional levels of customer service. * Assist with set up for tournaments and other duties as assigned. * Follow all opening and closing procedures. * A variety of duties but not limited to customer service, cleaning and stocking the golf shop. * Making sure inventory levels in the golf shop are full and accounted for. * Checking in of guests and members daily. * Answering the phone to book members and guests tee times * Always ensure that guests with special requests are recognized and attended to with pleasure. * Maintain open communication with other departments. * Promote the golf club and the community.
