Job Summary The Preventative Maintenance Associate helps keep greenhouse equipment and buildings running safely and smoothly. Responsibilities Follow the preventative maintenance schedule. Inspect equipment and machines for wear or damage. Complete basic repairs and replace worn parts. Check and top up fluid levels. Report major repairs to the Maintenance Manager. Keep work areas clean and organized. Help move and assemble equipment. Perform basic building and grounds maintenance. Follow all health and safety rules. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Maintenance experience is an asset. Able to use basic hand tools. Good communication and teamwork skills. Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented. Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Ability to lift heavy materials as required. Flexible and adaptable to competing demands. Work Environment Work indoors and outdoors in all weather. Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment. May require working at heights (training provided). The associate is responsible for following a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure greenhouse equipment and buildings run safely. Duties include inspecting machinery, performing basic repairs, and maintaining the general grounds and work areas.

Candidates should have experience with maintenance and the ability to use basic hand tools. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and flexibility to work in various weather conditions are required.
