We are currently hiring a Full-Time Warehouse Supervisor to join our team based out of our Richmond, BC location. This individual will supervise the warehouse activities and personnel (5-10 team members), assign staff and monitor the flow of products through the plant, and make recommendations for process improvement. Position: Full-Time, Permanent. Schedule: Monday to Friday. Must be able to work between the hours of 6am-5pm. Hours will be determined upon hiring. Salary: Between $60,000-80,000 per year, plus performance bonus. Duties and Responsibilities Ensures operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming receipts and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping warehouse inventory current. Inspects the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment. Communicates the need for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment. Collaborates with other distribution centers and business leaders to ensure coordination of all business. Participates in employee safety and plant protection activities. Provides leadership, ensures adherence to company practices and procedures, applies corrective action when needed. Interviews, trains, and retains staff. Conducts performance monitoring of staff, initiates follow through with disciplinary action when appropriate for the department. Mentors, motivates, and develops staff and serves as a role model and resource to them Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must have at least 3 years of warehouse experience, and 1 year of leadership experience. Forklift certification is an asset. Excellent attention to detail and strong motivation toward company, team, and individual results. Ability to work effectively with others as well as build and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships. Must have good time management and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, challenging environment. What you’ll do
Supervise warehouse activities and a team of 5-10 members to ensure efficient product flow and operational adherence. Manage incoming receipts, outgoing shipments, and equipment maintenance while mentoring staff and implementing process improvements.
Requirements
Requires at least 3 years of warehouse experience and 1 year of leadership experience. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with forklift certification considered an asset.
