Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role based at a Freshco store in Brampton, ON. The Freshco team member supports daily store operations, including assisting customers, stocking shelves, maintaining clean and organized aisles, and ensuring accurate product labeling and pricing. The role may involve operating the cash register, handling transactions, and responding to customer inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. The team member collaborates with colleagues and follows all safety and food-handling guidelines to maintain a safe and welcoming store environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on business needs. Qualifications Ability to provide courteous, efficient customer service, including answering questions and assisting with product location. Basic math and cash-handling skills, with the ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system or learn it quickly. Reliability and strong work ethic, including punctuality and the ability to follow instructions and store procedures. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move products, and perform tasks such as stocking and cleaning. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment. Prior retail or grocery experience is an asset but not required; willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
