We’re looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our team as Traffic Control Person(s) (TCPs). In this exciting role, you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sites. If you enjoy being outside, working on your feet & have an interest in getting a foot in the door with construction, this is a fantastic opportunity for you! No experience required, and we provide all necessary safety training at our office in Dartmouth. We offer: Competitive wages starting at $17.50/hour Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification training. Transportation to and from work provided (some exceptions may apply). Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with placing signs, barricades, and traffic cones in work areas. Communicate with other TCPs in the workplace to regulate traffic safely. Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas. Adapt traffic control setups to support moving paving operations. Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor. Follow instructions given by Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, and Management. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Reliable and punctual. Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions. Great communication skills and willing to work in a team environment. Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days. Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment on construction sites. Required ability to lift up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time. Valid TCP Certification an asset. Valid Class 5 License an asset.
