In this exciting role, you would be responsible for managing traffic through construction sites. We offer: Competitive wages starting at $17.50/hour Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification training. Opportunity for advancement within a few months of working with us. Transportation to and from work provided (some exceptions may apply). Respectful and friendly management team that will help you succeed. Most PPE will be supplied by the company. Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with placing signs, barricades, and traffic cones in work areas. Communicate with other TCPs in the workplace to regulate traffic safely. Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas. Adapt traffic control setups to support moving paving operations. Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor. Follow instructions given by Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, and Management. Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Reliable and punctual. Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions. Great communication skills and willing to work in a team environment. Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days. Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment on construction sites. Required ability to lift up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time. Valid TCP Certification an asset. Valid Class 5 License an asset. The Traffic Control Person (TCP) is responsible for managing traffic through construction sites, ensuring the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. This includes placing signs and barricades, communicating with other TCPs, and reporting any incidents or hazards.

Requirements

Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and able to interpret instructions. They should possess good communication skills, be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
