JOB OVERVIEW The Senior Configuration Analyst is responsible for managing, maintaining, and integrating processes and documentation within the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards. The role works closely with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to analyze, document, and improve processes, support configuration management and quality assurance activities, and ensure the accuracy, traceability, and controlled distribution of technical documentation, while contributing to continuous improvement and a strong safety culture. Responsibilities: * Creates, Update internal processes and documentation. * Integrate processes into Quality management systems. * Provide training to technical and non-technical staff on controlled documents and quality database * Contribute to team initiatives to reshape internal processes. * Working with leaders to collect general processes and standard information * work with designated business and process owners to analyze close processes and regulatory requirements. * write and modify strategic and procedural documentation that describes processes closely and incorporates regulatory requirements. * Create & understand Standard Operating Procedures for departments (and business Units * Establish, Analyze and document client contracts and ensure that all documentation can support customer requirements. * maintain partnerships with business groups to ensure that comprehensive, accurate and effective documentation meets project requirements * maintain a project monitoring mechanism for reporting purposes. * Ensure continuous revisions of updated publications, manuals and electronic publications. * Spread technical documents for maintenance management review. * Keep up-to-date and compile statistics and reports as needed. * Ensure coordination and communication with compliance colleagues to ensure compliance with local rules and regulations, TCCA and other agency authorities or certifications. * Focal: Coordinate and participate in IT meetings between suppliers and internal IT department when there is an issue pertaining to manuals. * Establish Vendor Log in requirements * Database Administrator. * Monitor Supply Chain Vendor Approvals Qualifications: * Must have 1 year experience in Quality Assurance and Technical Publications/Quality technical documentation experience. * Candidate must be bilingual (French and English) written and spoken * Advance in Microsoft Office suite * Experience in process mapping * Experience with ISO 9001/ AS 9110 quality standards * Experience in Documentation Management preferably with Quality Assurance experience * College diploma in Documentation Management, Aeronautic or similar discipline and experience * Power skills: Resourceful, meticulous, organized, problem solver, efficient, team player, good communicator Desired Skills, Qualification and Experience: * Experience in Aeronautics is an asset * Ability to work under pressure including changing priorities * Must have a great deal of attention to detail and be able to identify defects effectively * Capable of working with minimal supervision * Good communication skills * Good organizational skills * In this function the candidate must be open-minded to address Culture Change, listening and share best practices within the Safety Culture mindset * Abilities to support shop floor employees and other support groups with QA and minor regulatory related issues What we offer you: * Competitive compensation * Time to recharge with vacation, personal days, holidays, and parental leaves * Comprehensive Family Medical, Dental and Vision coverage available on your first day of employment * Virtual Health Care (24/7 access to medical professionals) * A Wellness Spending Account to aid in your wellness journey * Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) which includes free face to face counselling sessions * Medical Travel Insurance * Onsite fitness facilities at our main office locations * A Registered Retirement Savings Plan that includes matching company contributions on your first day of employment, that also includes access to Financial Advisors providing investment advice and comprehensive financial planning Equal Opportunity Statement: FTAI Aviation is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity in the workplace.
