The Opportunity Are you an Early Childhood Educator looking for a flexible opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact? Fueling Brains Academy is looking for reliable and enthusiastic On-Call Early Childhood Educators to support our teams across multiple Calgary campuses. This is a great opportunity for educators who enjoy flexibility, want exposure to different classroom environments, or are looking to build their experience within Fueling Brains Academy. We are currently recruiting On-Call Educators for the following campuses: New Brighton McKnight Centennial West 85th When you apply, you will be able to select the campus or campuses you are interested in working at. You may choose one location or multiple locations based on your availability and preferred commute. About Fueling Brains Academy At Fueling Brains Academy, we believe that early childhood education should nurture the whole child. Our educators create safe, engaging and developmentally appropriate environments where children are encouraged to explore, think creatively, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning. As an On-Call Educator, you will work alongside our classroom teams to provide consistent, high-quality care and support when additional coverage is required. What You'll Do Provide classroom coverage based on campus staffing needs and your availability. Create a safe, caring and engaging environment for children. Support children through daily routines, transitions and learning experiences. Encourage children's independence, creativity and social-emotional development. Work collaboratively with Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers and campus leadership. Support developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences. Assist children with self-care routines, including dressing, feeding and diapering where required. Maintain appropriate classroom supervision and follow all health and safety procedures. Build positive and professional relationships with children, families and colleagues. Assist with other classroom responsibilities as required. What You Bring Alberta Early Childhood Educator certification (Level 2 or 3 preferred). Previous experience working with children in a childcare or early learning environment is preferred. A genuine passion for working with children. Reliability, flexibility and strong communication skills. Ability to adapt confidently to different classrooms, age groups and teaching teams. Reggio Emilia-inspired, Montessori or play-based learning experience is an asset. Current First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it prior to commencing employment. Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, or willingness to obtain one as required. WHY JOIN FUELING BRAINS? Flexible On-Call opportunities.
