We are seeking an experienced, licensed, and highly skilled 313A Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing industrial refrigeration team. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who knows their trade, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a company that understands the realities of the field. This is a full-time, permanent position open to qualified candidates living in the GTA. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, comfortable leading jobs on site, and values strong workmanship, safety, and customer relationships. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, service, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems Lead and complete complex repairs, diagnostics, and system optimizations Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections to ensure system reliability and compliance Respond to service calls and breakdowns with a solutions-focused mindset Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, site supervisors, and internal teams Support and mentor apprentices and junior technicians when required Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and maintenance records Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards on job sites What You’ll Need to Succeed: Technical Skills: Valid 313A Refrigeration Mechanic License Strong experience working with ammonia and or CO2 refrigeration systems considered an asset Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex system issues Solid understanding of industrial refrigeration safety standards and best practices Full G license Professional Skills: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Ability to manage time, service calls, and shifting priorities independently Detail oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship Leadership mindset with ownership over work and decision making on site Team player attitude with respect for a supportive work environment Hiring Process: Application/questionnaire 5-minute video submission 45-minute final interview in-person Compensation Pay: Union rates or higher ($CAD 59.91- $62.40 hourly + benefits, training, vacation etc) Company truck Dental care Extended health care RRSP match Vision care Our Values Family Workmanship Customer Service Environmental Responsibility About Us We are a family-owned and long-standing leader in the industrial refrigeration sector across Ontario.
