We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and technical savvy Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice to support our growing team in the delivery of industrial refrigeration systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is working towards a 313A Refrigeration Mechanic license, and who is willing to grow within a supportive team. This is a full-time position open to qualified candidates living in the GTA. The ideal candidate is eager to contribute, learn, and build their career in a specialized, in-demand field. Responsibilities Troubleshooting and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems, with a focus on CO2 and ammonia systems. Performing preventive maintenance checks to keep things running smoothly and safely. Diagnosing and fixing issues to minimize downtime for our clients. Communicating professionally with customers, because we’re here to solve problems and build trust. Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs—yes, we know paperwork isn’t the fun part, but it matters. What You’ll Need to Succeed: Technical Skills: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Understanding of refrigeration and its' components Knowledge of CO₂ refrigeration systems through trade school is a strong asset Understanding of electrical components and electrical troubleshooting Valid G License Professional Skills: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Ability to manage time and adapt to shifting project priorities Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality work A team player attitude.
