Title: Linux Administrator (RHEL)– Vulnerability Management Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Linux professional with strong RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) expertise to lead endpoint remediation efforts and address security vulnerabilities across the environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with security tools such as CrowdStrike and Qualys to identify, prioritize, and remediate OS-level vulnerabilities through scripting and manual intervention. Key Responsibilities: Analyze vulnerability scan results (Qualys, CrowdStrike, or similar tools) and remediate identified OS-level vulnerabilities on RHEL systems Perform endpoint remediation activities to ensure systems remain compliant with security and patching standards Develop and maintain scripts to automate vulnerability remediation, patching, and configuration changes Troubleshoot and resolve OS-level issues on RHEL Linux systems impacting security posture Collaborate with security/vulnerability management teams to understand risk priorities and remediation timelines Validate successful remediation of vulnerabilities and ensure no recurrence Maintain documentation of remediation steps, scripts, and processes for audit and knowledge-sharing purposes Stay current on emerging vulnerabilities, patches, and RHEL security advisories. Required Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) administration and troubleshooting Scripting knowledge (Bash/Shell, Python, or similar) to automate remediation tasks Experience working with vulnerability management/endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike, Qualys, or equivalent Understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle — identification, prioritization, remediation, and validation Ability to interpret vulnerability scan reports and translate findings into actionable remediation steps Good understanding of Linux security hardening practices and patch management Core Technical Skills: RHEL Linux Scripting (Bash/Shell/Python) CrowdStrike, Qualys (or similar vulnerability/endpoint security tools) Vulnerability & Patch Management We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
