Overview We are looking to fill a full time role for a Senior Benefits Consultant at Gallagher Benefit Services (Canada) Group Inc. If selected, you will be part of a dynamic team, supporting employers to develop and manage strategic employee benefits programs, build trusted client relationships, and deliver expert consulting advice that supports organizational goals and employee wellbeing. How you'll make an impact Serve as the lead consultant and trusted advisor for a portfolio of employee benefits clients. Develop and execute strategic benefits plans aligned with client objectives, workforce needs, and budget considerations. Conduct renewal and market review analyses, providing data-driven recommendations. Design and deliver client presentations, stewardship reports, and executive-level recommendations. Evaluate funding arrangements, plan design strategies, and cost containment opportunities. Support clients with complex benefits issues. Collaborate with Gallagher colleagues across benefits, retirement, wellbeing, compensation, and HR consulting practices to deliver integrated solutions. Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through the introduction of additional Gallagher services. Participate in new business opportunities, finalist presentations, and proposal development. Stay current on industry trends, emerging market developments, and regulatory changes affecting employee benefits programs. About you 8+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits consulting, account management, underwriting, or a related field. Possession of a life license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and present recommendations to senior leaders in organizations. Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel to meet clients.
