Role Description The Co Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ottawa, ON, responsible for supporting store leadership in driving sales, delivering an outstanding customer experience, and maintaining brand standards. In this role, the Co Manager helps oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, visual merchandising, and inventory management. The position involves coaching and supporting team members on the sales floor, assisting with scheduling, and contributing to staff training and performance feedback. The Co Manager collaborates closely with the Store Manager to meet sales targets, uphold operational policies, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for customers and team members. This role also requires active participation in floor coverage, customer service, and problem-solving during peak periods and promotional events. Qualifications Retail leadership skills, including experience supervising teams, providing coaching, and supporting performance management. Customer service and sales skills, with the ability to engage customers, build relationships, and drive conversion in a fast-paced environment. Operational and organizational skills, such as managing store processes, handling cash procedures, and maintaining inventory and visual standards. Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, give clear direction, and resolve conflicts professionally. Problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the capacity to prioritize tasks, respond to issues in real time, and adapt to changing business needs. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to stand and move on the sales floor for extended periods. Previous experience in fashion retail or a similar customer-facing environment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, retail management, or a related field is an asset.
