Competitive hourly wage of $21.16 Casual/On Call Position Unionized work environment Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Opportunity to take on Team Lead responsibilities Responsibilities for Casual Security Guard Conduct vehicle searches as required Monitor and control site access and security operations Complete detailed and accurate reports Remain available and flexible for shift coverage as needed Stand and patrol for extended periods Work collaboratively with team members and site personnel Act as Team Lead when required, including supervising staff, making decisions, and ensuring site protocols are followed Qualifications for Casual Security Guard Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (must be obtained from Motor Registration) High School Diploma Strong communication and report writing skills Basic computer knowledge Ability to read and write reports clearly and accurately Previous security experience preferred Completion of a recognized security course is an asset Be authorized to work in Canada Mandatory Requirements for Casual Security Guard No prior criminal convictions or history of offences Must obtain a Certificate of Conduct from both Court and Police Must be willing to undergo Drug and Alcohol testing (if selected) Must be able to work rotational shifts (days and nights) This could be more than a job!
