Ready to suit up as a Conceirge Security Guard GardaWorld is seeking a professional and customer-service-oriented Security Guard to join our team at a site in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a professional security presence at the site's main Security Centre, conducting patrols using a GardaWorld patrol unit, assisting contractors, visitors, and employees, and completing various administrative and security-related tasks. This position is well suited for individuals who are comfortable working with people, have strong computer and administrative skills, and are interested in developing their careers within the security industry.What's in it for you? We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Full time opportunity 4 on 4 off rotation Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Conceirge Security Guard Conduct regular site patrols using a GardaWorld patrol unit. Maintain a professional security presence at the main Security Centre. Monitor and control access to the facility in accordance with site procedures. Greet and assist employees, contractors, visitors, and other site personnel in a professional and courteous manner. Direct and assist visitors with site safety orientation requirements. Coordinate and facilitate orientations for individuals requiring access to the facility. Issue and manage access badges in accordance with established procedures. Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, logs, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Use the site computer to complete administrative tasks, documentation, emails, and other security-related activities. Respond to security-related requests and incidents according to site procedures. Monitor site activities and report any safety, security, or access concerns to the appropriate personnel. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Management. Qualifications for Conceirge Security Guard Valid Alberta Security Services Worker Licence. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Comfortable using computers and completing administrative tasks. Ability to accurately complete reports, logs, and other required documentation. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and conduct. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, contractors, visitors, and site personnel. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within established procedures. Reliable transportation to and from the site. Ability to work a 4 days on / 4 days off rotation. Strong attendance and punctuality. Previous security, customer service, administrative, or industrial site experience is considered an asset. This could be more than a job! Requirements
