We are looking for Security guards with valid Mnaitoba Security license from Gimli or Selkirk , to work for our industrial setting in Gimli. What's in it for you? Hourly wage of $20.36 + comprehensive benefits We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Open shifts: 0700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-0700 Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Industrial Security Guard Maintain a safe and Secure environment Monitor traffic (vehicle and pedestrian) through the gates. Includes grain trucks, alcohol tankers, Reception/switchboard duties Monitor card access door system and 96 cameras Key control Two vehicle patrols per day during the evening and night shift. Pick up mail in town (Monday and Wednesday evening shifts) Stairs and walking patrols Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal. Performing Mobile Patrol and Foot Patrol at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence. Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site. Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues. Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports. Provide Excellent customer service. Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors Qualifications for Industrial Security Guard Good verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in the security industry (asset) Holds valid Manitoba Security Guard license First aid will be beneficial Be able to wear Safety footwear (CSA or ANSI approved), gloves & safety glasses (supplied by client, Hi Vis Vest /Jacket Holds valid Manitoba drivers license with clean driving record. Have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work and be able to drive in inclement weather.
