As a specialized Officer, physical ability is essential, as you will be moving throughout your entire shift, patrolling municipal properties, engaging with the community, and visiting businesses.What's in it for you? Perform productive patrols and site visits throughout the community and public areas. React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken. Conduct wellness checks. Collaborate with municipal services, emergency services, and law enforcement. Qualifications for an Enhanced security Officer Be authorized to work in Canada. Background in criminology, sociology, police foundations, corrections, military, or security experience. First aid certification required, or willingness to obtain one. Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift. Ability to work in all types of weather. Ability to learn and adapt as procedures evolve. Proficient with technology. You must provide a valid Criminal Record Check, a Vulnerable Sector Check, a clean Driver’s Abstract, and a valid driver’s licence. This could be more than a job! Requirements

Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and have a relevant background in criminology, sociology, police foundations, corrections, the military, or security. First aid certification is required or must be obtained, along with a valid driver's licence, clean driver's abstract, Criminal Record Check, and Vulnerable Sector Check; candidates must also be able to walk and stand throughout shifts and work in all weather.
