As an Office Building Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in an Office setting WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? * Hourly wage of $16.60 per hour * We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy * Permanent Shifts: Mon to Fri 0730-1530 * Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld * Uniform provided at no cost RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OFFICE BUILDING SECURITY GUARD * Deter criminal activity * Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and adhering to security procedures * Performing Interior and Exterior Patrol with G-Track at the Premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence and to identify potential risks * Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site. * Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues. * Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches * Performing environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises etc * Complete Daily reports . * Provide Excellent customer service. * Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs * Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams * Answer questions in person or by phone * Write incident reports and communicate security concerns * QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE BUILDING SECURITY GUARD * Be authorized to work in Canada * Hold a valid Manitoba security license * First aid certification an asset * Exceptional customer service skills * Be able to work Evenings * Leadership and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a stressful environment * Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Apply today – this could be more than a job! 26% of our corporate employees started as frontline workers.
